2010 Event Details:
Buckner Mission Man Triathlon
Have you ever wanted to experience the excitement of a triathlon but didn't want to compete in all 3 events? The Buckner Mission Man Triathlon offers individuals the chance to participate in just 1 of the 3 legs of the event. If you can swim 705 meters, ride a bike 15 miles, or run 5 kilometers you can participate in this exciting event. We are forming teams to participate in this event which supports Burlington area charities. The teams will be competing for cash prizes which will be donated to charities in our home county if we have a winning team. We are planning events around this event which will make it a mini-getaway for individuals or couples. If you are interested, send an email to firstbaptist1@carolina.rr.com for more information.
Blue Ridge Relay
The Blue Ridge Relay is a 208 mile relay-style race in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. We are recruting up to 12 persons to form a team for this year's event. All Hallows 5K Run/Walk and Barrel Roll
Get your Halloween weekend started off right with our 5K run/walk and barrel roll. This event promises to get you in the right "spirit" for the weekend! Details and registration forms will be available by 6/1/2010. Watch monroefirstbaptist.org for information as it becomes available.
